Questions About QuantProof
Everything you need to know about our 37 institutional checks, live broker validation, and how we help traders pass prop firm challenges.
QuantProof runs 37 institutional-grade checks that standard backtesting software misses: overfitting detection (deflated Sharpe, CPCV analysis), 5 historical crash simulations (2008, 2020, 2022, 2010, 1998), prop firm compliance gates (FTMO, Topstep, The5ers, Blue Guardian, Earn2Trade), execution reality checks, and regime robustness testing.
Most backtest tools only show basic metrics like Sharpe ratio and drawdown. We analyze the quality of your results, not just the surface numbers.
CSV upload validates your methodology with 37 checks, but the data is self-reported. Great for initial strategy testing and methodology validation.
Live broker validation pulls your actual trade history directly from brokers like Alpaca or IBKR, providing real-world verification. Only broker-validated results can be used for a Prop-Firm Readiness Summary and show true slippage, execution delays, and live market conditions.
Standard analysis shows Sharpe ratio, max drawdown, total return. Our analysis includes:
• Deflated Sharpe ratio (detects overfitting)
• CPCV walk-forward analysis
• 5 crash simulations
• Regime robustness testing
• Execution reality analysis
• Symbol overfitting detection
• Alpha decay
• Prop firm-specific compliance gates
Most tools miss 80% of these critical factors that determine real-world success, including firm-specific compliance gates for FTMO, Topstep, The5ers, Blue Guardian, and Earn2Trade.
No programming required. Simply upload your CSV file or connect your broker account. The interface is designed for traders, not developers. All technical analysis happens automatically - you just need your trading data.
We handle the complex math, you focus on trading.
The PDF report provides a ranked fix plan based on your exact numbers - not generic advice. It shows which specific checks to fix first for maximum FTMO compliance impact.
Most traders who failed FTMO multiple times find the detailed fix plan saves them months of trial-and-error. Considering FTMO challenge costs, ₹299 is minimal insurance against another failure.
Free validation includes all 37 checks, Fundable Score, and basic fix suggestions.
₹299 PDF report provides: ranked fix plan (which issues to fix first for maximum impact), detailed explanations of each failure, specific parameter recommendations, and a Prop-Firm Readiness Summary (analysis against published prop-firm rules, when available).
Most serious traders use the PDF for FTMO preparation.
QuantProof supports Alpaca (US stocks/crypto), Interactive Brokers (global markets), and Zerodha Kite (Indian markets).
For CSV uploads, we support TradingView exports, MT5/MT4 exports, and any custom CSV format with BUY/SELL pairs. We're constantly adding new broker integrations based on user demand.
QuantProof auto-detects most CSV formats. Ideally include: Date/Time, Symbol, Side (BUY/SELL), Quantity, Price.
We support Zerodha TradeBook, Zerodha Orders, TradingView exports, MT5/MT4 statements, and custom formats. Our CSV parser automatically pairs BUY/SELL trades using FIFO matching and handles various date formats.
Live broker data includes real-world factors backtests miss: slippage (0.1-5 pips), execution delays (10-500ms), partial fills, overnight gaps, and liquidity constraints.
Most backtests assume perfect execution - live validation shows your actual edge after these costs. Traders typically see 10-30% performance reduction in live vs. backtest.

This means your trading strategies are completely private and secure.
Yes. QuantProof supports TradingView webhook integration for automated strategy validation:
• Webhook URL: Generate unique webhook endpoint in QuantProof
• Real-Time Validation: Each webhook trigger validates the latest trade
• 37 Checks Applied: Full institutional validation on webhook data
• Live Updates: Fundable Score updates with each webhook
Perfect for automated strategy monitoring and prop firm preparation workflows.
Most validations complete in 30-60 seconds. CSV uploads are faster (30 seconds), while live broker validation takes 45-60 seconds due to API data retrieval. Deep analysis with 50 n_trials takes slightly longer.
You get instant results with Fundable Score and detailed breakdown immediately.
No. QuantProof is an analytics tool, not a regulated financial service, and it does not provide investment advice.
We follow GDPR-style data practices and respect user rights under applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, PDPA, DPDP Act).
Payments are processed by Paddle and Razorpay, which handle card data under their own PCI DSS compliance. QuantProof never sees or stores your card details. All data sent to and from QuantProof is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.
Yes. We support global brokers including:
• Alpaca (US stocks/crypto)
• Interactive Brokers (140+ countries)
• Zerodha Kite (India)
These brokers are regulated in their own jurisdictions (for example by the SEC, FCA, ASIC, MAS and SEBI). QuantProof itself is not a regulated entity; it only reads your trade data for analysis.
QuantProof's "Compliance" checks are informational heuristics, not legal compliance certification: a 5-gate prop-firm readiness check, a comparison against published prop-firm rules (FTMO, Topstep, The5ers), and an institutional benchmark (Sharpe ≥ 1.0, max drawdown < 25%, Calmar ≥ 1.0). For Zerodha Kite trade books, an optional SEBI pre-check flags patterns such as order rate, orders outside NSE market hours and turnover thresholds. These checks reference rules like SEBI's algo-trading framework but do not determine whether you or your strategy are legally compliant. Consult your broker or a qualified professional for regulatory advice.
Based on our analysis of thousands of FTMO attempts:
• Above 80: Typically pass on first attempt
• 70-79: Need minor fixes
• 60-69: Require significant improvements
• Below 60: High failure risk
However, FTMO also considers consistency and risk management - that's why our detailed breakdown shows exactly what to fix.
No tool can guarantee prop firm success due to market conditions and execution factors. However, QuantProof identifies the exact issues that cause 90% of FTMO failures.
Traders with Fundable Scores above 80 have an 85%+ pass rate. We provide the analysis - you still need solid strategy execution and risk management.
QuantProof works for five major prop firms with firm-specific requirements:
• FTMO: 10% max drawdown, 5% daily loss, 10% profit target
• Topstep: 4% max loss, 8% profit, 50% consistency rule
• The5ers: 8% max drawdown, 10% profit, 4-day consistency
• Blue Guardian: 10% DD, 5% daily loss
• Earn2Trade: 12% DD, 6% profit
We check each firm's specific rules and report exact violations.
Absolutely. Many of our users came after multiple FTMO failures. We identify exactly why you failed - usually overfitting, excessive drawdown, or consistency issues.
Our analysis shows which specific metrics to improve. Traders typically see 20-40 point Fundable Score improvements after following our fix plan.
We monitor prop firm requirements continuously and update our compliance gates within 7 days of any announced changes.
FTMO, Topstep, The5ers, Blue Guardian, and Earn2Trade occasionally adjust drawdown limits or profit targets. Our system automatically applies the latest requirements to your analysis.
